What is space clicker

space clicker is an educational game that seeks to teach children aged 8 to 14 years old about the concepts of astronomy and space exploration. The game involves guiding a ship as it traverses through a 3D solar system, while collecting science data and completing puzzles. In the process, players learn more about the astronomical objects they come across in the game and gain an appreciation for the importance of space exploration.

The objective of Space Clicker is to collect data from each celestial body that the player encounters in their journey. Along the way, there are various puzzles which must be solved before the ship can continue its mission. Upon completion of a puzzle, players receive a set amount of points which can be used to purchase various upgrades for their ship's engines, weapons or cargo space. These upgrades are necessary for reaching more distant planets and stars, thereby progressing further in the game.

The game leverages 3D graphics to offer an immersive experience as players wander around our solar system and explore its planets. All interactions are entirely mouse-driven and other peripheral devices such as headphones or controllers are not required to play Space Clicker. However, these devices can add a greater degree of realism if one has access to them.

In addition to teaching science concepts, Space Clicker also has educational audio clips embedded within it that help introduce players to terminology they may encounter while they traverse through outer space. Players learn not only about captivating astronomy topics but also gain skillsets such as problem-solving techniques and strategic thinking skills as they complete challenges throughout their journey.
